Hi all,

As I read on this forum, my problem is not new. Every once and while my 6-disc changer stops playing. However the radio than still works if I switch to it, so it's only the 6 disc player that fails.Furthermore it also has problems whit audio burned on CD-r. That and the fact that my navigation maps are not supported (updated) anymore by Nissan, makes me wanna install a whole new head-unit.

Is there anyone who can give me advis on which one to choose. If possible I like to have the steering wheel buttons still working with the new head unit.

Looking forward to your replies.

My Murano is a (european) 2005 model.

I don't think you can replace the factory head unit with anything other than a factory head unit. My understanding is that the heat and air are controled by a circut board connected to the back of the head unit. I have been trying to find a replacement for mine as well and have not been successfu.

O.k., well now I understand why there's no response to the question ;-)Thanks for the reply, if I might find a way to replace it I'll post it here.
