I've spent the afternoon searching google and various forums including this one for VH dynos to see if there are any documented in the 600-700 or higher HP range and I'm coming up blank. I've seen posts talking about the TT VH boats down under, but no real numbers to speak of other than numbers that strike me as being ballpark and hearsay, nothing concrete. Anyone have any links to dynos of engines that actually provide some level of detail on what has been done (or not done) to the engines and the numbers associated with the build?

We have yet to see someone rebuild with low compression pistons and run some decent boost. Just nobody has bothered yet because most people are enjoying their running VH conversions and don't wanna pull their motor right down! Why not buy a motor and do it yourself? It's a fairly costly exercise.

Mine will be a few years off. I got the turbos for it.But Mettlers right I dont want to pull it down yet as i just got it all going.I do have some big plans but i dont think ill end up being the first in completing the motor with big hp.

Understandable, yet surprising based on how incredibly overbuilt the motor is and how cheap they are. I'd think someone would have turbo'd one and started pushing things a bit. Guess I'll just have to keep my eye out.

There's some bloke pushing 500hp+ with a VH in a red S14 (I think, could be a S13). I saw a vid posted here a while ago of it on the dyno.

But as Bart said Nizpro is doing some nuts stuff with them in ski boats. Quad turbo stroked beasts. And I would believe the numbers they are throwing around, they have a engine dyno for R&D and have done some nutso things over the years in both automotive and boats.

That's Jeff Taylor's red 240SX (450SX), I think it was making 447hp at the wheels on 7psi or something? Maxing out the fuel system.

Yep, that one I did see. 446whp @ 6psi with a Vortech. Can't wait to see what he can do with some more fuel.
