hay doodz. so i did a few searches including the words "300" and "brake(s)" and couldn't find anything, which struck me as odd. so i'm either not searching correctly, or something else. so, if this has been answered before, please kindly direct me to the proper thread(s) and i will be about my business. BUT ANYWAY! my current brakes are beginning to squeak pretty often so i figured, hey, why not go all out and get some 300zx turbo brakes (if the price is nice, that is). so, i'm looking for a good place to purchase EVERYTHING. a kit, if you will. Mr 1der told me thought enjuku was a sponsor of nico and so i checked there, but couldn't find anything. i drive a 97 240 SE, so is there anything i'd need to know before going about this? clearance issues, size, etc?

edit: oh yeah, what are good strut bars for 240s?

you should piece the kit together yourself, itll come out like $200 cheaper

if you really want a kit heavy throttle sells every combo of z32 brakes ive ever seen

and why are you worrying about strut bars?

also for the search, try "z32 brakes"

heavy throttle is out of stock, says their website.

and if i were to piece together a kit i'd need a list of everything i'd need so i could begin that search.

and about the strut bar... couldn't hurt :[]

theres a lot more important parts than strut bars

get a set of sway bars, you wont regret it

S13 -> Z32 Conversion Brake Lines

i'm guessing that doesn't apply to the s14? just making sure.

also, i'm going for all 4 brakes, so is there anything else to know besides just putting them on? and about the s14 k's m/c, does that one fit right in, unlike the z32's?

the conversion lines you can get at spl parts

i would recommend the z32 mc, is the k's a 17/16ths like the z32?

the rears are a much harder undertaking than the fronts....this should help you a little more if youre doing everything front and rear:

i love you. you're really helpful.

and according to silbeer: "Either get a Z32 M/C (in which case, you will have to bend hard brake lines, which can be screwed up fairly easily) or get the M/C off of an S14 K's clip. S14 Silvia K's in Japan use front brakes that are almost if not the exact same as Z32 front brakes. As such, their master cylinder is bigger, and someone at Nissan got smart and decided to use the same M/C for RHD/LHD S14 chassis."

so i'd imagine it's 17/16ths if they're identical in size like said.

boy this is kind of a pain in the *** just for new brakes :[
