Ok just traded my car for a supposidly has a S14 Notch top swap, 550's, S15 Turbo, and bolt ons. I have searched for the past few days and have still not come up with SOLID answers to my questions.

Is there any way to tell the difference physically in the S14 and S15 motors? I know there really is no difference but it may answer the next question.

FYI The block code I could see reads 4490107

Is there anyway to tell the difference in the s14 and s15 turbo ON the car?I cant read the plate on top but the housing says 270955W I believe.

I know the s15 motor has the 6 speed and this car is a 5 speed but I did read the s15 motor will bolt up to the 5 speed.

Also looks as if the oil pan or front main seal is leaking, I need part numbers for:

Front Main Seal and Intake Manifold Gasket

Thank you in advance I would just like to start with thses because if this is a stock s14 swap then I need to go into checking everyhting else on the car...ecu, injectors, rear diff, etc. Thanks again

What color are the injectors? S15 should have brown/dark red 480cc's. Check the ECU, get back with what the serial number is (22680-XXXXX).

The injector tops are yellow, the and the ecu is supposidly is chipped by enthralpy for 550s a S15 turbo and the z32 MAF.

ECU reads 23710 69F00

A18-000 GTO

The car for sure has a Z32 MAF I checked on that...everything else is still up in the air.

Ok so I have looked and searched and I think I have come to conclusion that I have a bone stock s14 swap with a stock ecu running a z32 maf

Based on the info you gave the engine is an S14 with an S14 ECU and S14 turbo. The yellow injectors should in fact be 550's though.

Alright and the s14 single ball bearing turbo is good for around 15-17 psi and 260-280 whp correct? (from what I read)

And here are some pics, motor and the ecu. From what I understand this is a enthralpy chipped ecu for 550ccs and Z32 MAF

The board on top indicates the "chipped" service correct?

Thanks for all of the help!

You can get some answers without looking up the part numbers. Look and see if you have an ignitor. S14 sr's have them, S15 sr's do not. Also, look up some pictures of S13/14 sr coilpacks. S15's are also different in that they have an integrated ignitor or something like that. From what I understand, the coilpacks are skinnier, and the corresponding holes in the valve cover are skinnier too. The valve cover holes are actually skinny enough that the S13/14 coilpacks will not even fit in there.

Actually, after looking closer at your last picture above, I see an ignitor. You have an S14 motor, don't know about your turbo though. I would doubt it's an S15 turbo seeing that the guy lied about the motor too.
