Searching: 2005 Bose 6 CD Changer in-dash module

I know, I should have known better - but my kids managed to shove coins into my in-dash Bose 6 disc changer without my knowing, and one day my wife heard a 'pop' and now the radio turns on...but no sound, the RDS is off and the CDs sound very muffled when playing. Most likely there is a short somewhere. I could try to get it repaired, but it'll cost and arm and a leg. Buying an OEM module from the dealer will kill my bank acct. Does anyone have a Bose 6 CD Changer in-dash module they are willing to sell? You might have upgraded and have it lying around somewhere. Let me know, any help will be much appreciated!
