i have a redtop sr20det and i cant quite find the answers. First of all, i will be changing the waterpump, etc. a basic rebuild. where can i find a FSM for the sr20?, download or buy a manual. i will be upgrading to a gt28r and from what i read it will fit on the stock exhaust mani. how much psi can run safely without changing injectors, MAFs. etc? basically all i will be doing is using a FMIC, stock motor, ecu and just upgrading the turbo, using the stock tunning, therefore no need for dyno.7-9 PSI? with that is it then necessary to get a wideband and sfac etc? or should i get one just because it will do the motor well in the long run and do a proper dyno tune? for everyone, sorry for such noob questions. I, like everyone else, did not know everything and needed help at one point. thanks in advence

http://phase2motorsports.stores.yahoo.net/ There's your fsm go to oem parts

Get some one to print the fsm for you at work like i did. It will fill up 2 big *** binders and comes in great use!

There is a big search button up top that helps with every question you have...

It is always better safe than sorry.

Get some kind of fuel management and a wideband. It WILL do your engine well in the long run.

thanks for that FSM link. i will be using a wideband and some sort of A/F tuning system. well seems like i will be able to run 12PSI and be safe on stock injectors etc. fuel pump, dont worry i will be upgrading, havent decided between a walboro or a 300zx, what s pros and cons for the two?also, i'm not sure about this, but if i only upgrade the IC to a FMIC and the turbo to a t28, can i get away with a stock ECU setting, or should i get it reflashed? or was it up to 10PSI stock ECU was okay?..i'm just trying to clear up some things

Personally, I take my S14 SR to 1 Bar.

I have seen many people run their S13 SR setups at 13 and 15 pounds without problems.

I don't like telling people they can run these boost levels, I say 10-12 PSI and youll be fine without doing anything other than FMIC.
