SEARCHED! found and failed please help

I serched and found what i was looking for and everything i tryed dident work. My problem is , on my 95 240 the driverside window went down but now wont go back up. i now know from my search that the power amp in knowen to die. but i dont know if that is whats dead. what happens is when i pull the window button that amp makes a clicking noise. what i want to know is what that noise is, could it bean the amp is dead, or the amp trying to put power to a dead window motor. i tried the bypass method to get the window up but it dident work, maybe i did it wrong tho, heres some pictures

im new here and i just need a little help, were gonna have a bad storm today and i dont want my leather seats to get wet again thank you so much for help

pop the door panels and check over the tracks and stuff
