searched: can you keep stock mech fan shroud with koyo radiaitor?

Ive taken a good hard look at it and it looks like it would push the shroud so far forward that the fan would hit the shroud. Has anyone done this before? I dont have electric fans, im not going to get electric fans and im having some cooling problems on the highway with the a/c on. Thanks,~Sam

I run the Koyo 2-row alum. radiator with stock mechanical fan and the stock electric a/c fan. I kept the shroud on, too.

Haven't had any issues whatsoever. Works like a dream.

Oh, btw, this is on a 93 S13, KADET.

awsome, i have a 91 KA-T. J/W but do the stock mounting brackets work as well or do i need to fab some up?~Sam

the only thing you need is a big garbage can to put the old radiator in. Everything lines up perfectly.
