Hi, I just got done removing the PAIR vavle out of my 93 KA24DE and I also removed the charcoal canister. My question is, how do I got about covering/filtering the line that used to go to the charcoal canister from the fuel tank?(connected to the top of the canister)thanks guys.

I must ask why did you remove said items?

because I wanted more room in my engine bay/ reduce weight... I already had the PAIR blocked off so I was just sitting there taking up space.

try sticking a fine thread bolt in a piece of gas line then clamping that to the line that runs to the canister. find a vented gas cap and you should be good to go. if you can't find a vented cap, drill a tiny hole thru the one you have. (insert egr tampering disclaimer here)

sounds good, I have something going on like that right now. What about the tube that was connected to the bottom of the canister? Does any know the actual purpose of it because I just have it open right now...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that tube go to a "fresh air" source underneath the car? Should be okay to just leave it be if that's the case.

I think you're right because I haven't had any problems so far, I just going to take the tube out of the frame rail.
