searched and nothing, blinkers and reverse lights dont work

Its a 1997 240sx se, and currently there is no cd player installed, the person i got the car from said that the blinkers and reverse lights are wired through the cd player, and i'll need one for them to work, is this true?. i cant find anything on it anywhere.

No. your blinkers/ reverse lights are on the same circuit. get a 240 mannal from a parts store, a multi-meter and start chasing wires.

Did you check the fuses? And if not that I know on most cars if the hazard switch is out the blinkers wont work you could try having a proven to work hazard switch and borrow it and see if it works.
