I will be running R32 GTR calipers which use a 296mm x 32mm rotor; the rotors are a PITA to find first off. Actually, I haven't even found OEM replacement for these things. mynismo.com, thenismoshop.com, doesn't have them. Courtesy sells drilled rotors for these calipers but they're almost $200 a piece; OUCH. Anyone know something I dont know when it comes to finding OEM R32 Skyline GTR rotors?
This is one reason I was considering running 350z track rotors, as they're available locally (usually). I would need the adapter bracket for moving the caliper out to adapt to the larger diameter Track rotor, obviously, but not sure this is worth it. The brackets are made for Z32 calipers that use 280x30mm rotors, which would adapt them to use the 324x30mm rotors from a Track Z. Not sure the Skyline calipers, which use the 296x32mm rotors would work w/ these brackets and Z track rotors (in other words, if the contact patch of the pad would hit the rotor adequately). Thoughts??
I confirmed non-turbo MKIV Supra's use 296x32 rotors, just need to verify the center bore is compatible w/ s14 hubs. If these would work, then I would just run stock supra rotors w/ skyline calipers and be happy.
