I used to hate Google chrome because of its looks, I thought why is it such a simple looking browser... But I installed it and fell in lover, I kicked Mozilla to the curb (Internet Explorer was already in the gutter).

One of the features of Google Chrome is the ability to search websites from the address bar. Mozilla and Internet Explorer has a dedicated search bar and Chrome lacks it but no matter.

What inspired this is the fact that the Ebay search was missing so I had to manually enter it.

To search Nico Club follow these simple instructions:

Go the the Wrench icon-->Options-->Default search-->Manage-->Add

Once there:

Name: Nico Club (Call it what you want)

Keyword: nicoclub (the important part) (I looked at the service manual too much. So when ever I go to Nico Club it thinks I want to see the service manual.)

URL: http://www.google.com/custom?d...hl=en (Right click the link and select "Copy link address".)

http://picasaweb.google.com/lh...tlink

After the above is entered hit OK-->Close (Manage search)--Close (Google Chrome options)

You should be all set and it should look simmilar to this:

http://picasaweb.google.com/lh...tlink

This little trick can be done to any website that has a search engine.

It returns searches with links from google rather then actually going through nico search right?

If so, that can be done to any website, with or with out its own search engine, and from any browser that will automatically search google for results it can't find as a webpage.

All you have to do is google search using the site: command.

So if you wanna search for FSM on nicoclub.com all you do is search"FSM site:nicoclub.com"And it comes back like so

Nope it actually works with the actual Nico/Google search engine. You might have copied the code wrong...

I can take some screen shots if need be.

Not sure exactly what is the diffrence but the code Red Coupe used is pretty much spot on.

No idea why it doesn't work for you but so far I can search Google Maps, Picasa and more...

Like I said you can search NICO with there own Google search from the address bar of Google Chrome, if you follow the admittedly confusing instructions.

My biggest issue with Chrome was (I used it for awhile maybe a year ago) that Quick Reply didn't work, IIRC. Maybe it does now... I should find out.

edit: It does. Maybe I'll give it another shot, but I think there was something else that I didn't like that was just kind of an annoyance.

I really like Chrome but for some reason the videos take longer to play than when I'm using Explorer, don't know why?
