the first one I've cut is steel, because I figured it was easiest/cheapest to make the first one steel if I messed up anything, etc... making an aluminum pipe wouldn't really be a huge problem now that I know how big each curve has to be, its just harder to get a hold of a welder (the tool, not the guy) that can do aluminum. My neighbor has a welder that can do steel in his garage, but he works for NASA and they have welders that can do aluminum at the space center.
Steel is easier, and he can do damn near perfect welds on there so it's still going to look pretty bling I know how much you like bling.
OR I have an Enjuku aluminum hotpipe for an SR we can cut and reweld pretty easily if you're interested in that. If you're dead set on aluminum that's probably the best option because I'd have to order aluminum U bends otherwise and that could take some more time I paid $75ish for it, but I can't seem to find anyone interested in it, and I'd still be down for a trade for the harness... the only problem with the Enjuku pipe is that it's 2.25 inches instead of the stock 2 inch. You'd have to find some reducers to use it on stock intercooler and turbo outlet...
As far as cutting and rewelding the ARC bov flange, it uses some really thick aluminum walls, almost like a cast aluminum right? If so, its gonna be really hard to weld that to a thin aluminum pipe. You're probably gonna have to find another way to mount that BOV if you're set on keeping it.
