And any thoughts on where in the heck to get an ARC BOV flange? I really wann keep this BOV, but I am stumped on what to do. The pipe that it comes with is aluminum, but I am not sure about how to cut the flange off and weld it on the hotpipe.....as well as the whole reason that I have to have you make the pipe is that no one (that I can find) local welds aluminum...Looks like I may have to take it down to Houston and pay out the a$$ for some work done to it

You think I could possibly send the pipe with the harness and you guys mount it?

possibly... let me go talk to my neighbor about what his work schedule looks like... I might be able to ride down to his work (where he can weld aluminum)... We can only work with steel here at my house. I'll get back to you

and I saw the harness when you posted it in B/S/T section

So is the hotpipe aluminum or steel? If it is steel, I guess I need another plan on mounting my BOV...

the first one I've cut is steel, because I figured it was easiest/cheapest to make the first one steel if I messed up anything, etc... making an aluminum pipe wouldn't really be a huge problem now that I know how big each curve has to be, its just harder to get a hold of a welder (the tool, not the guy) that can do aluminum. My neighbor has a welder that can do steel in his garage, but he works for NASA and they have welders that can do aluminum at the space center.

Steel is easier, and he can do damn near perfect welds on there so it's still going to look pretty bling I know how much you like bling.

OR I have an Enjuku aluminum hotpipe for an SR we can cut and reweld pretty easily if you're interested in that. If you're dead set on aluminum that's probably the best option because I'd have to order aluminum U bends otherwise and that could take some more time I paid $75ish for it, but I can't seem to find anyone interested in it, and I'd still be down for a trade for the harness... the only problem with the Enjuku pipe is that it's 2.25 inches instead of the stock 2 inch. You'd have to find some reducers to use it on stock intercooler and turbo outlet...

As far as cutting and rewelding the ARC bov flange, it uses some really thick aluminum walls, almost like a cast aluminum right? If so, its gonna be really hard to weld that to a thin aluminum pipe. You're probably gonna have to find another way to mount that BOV if you're set on keeping it.

Well, if the steel still looks bling, that would work. But alu is my preferred choice. Any ideas on a flange? How hard would that be to make? I don't even know what kind of shop could do that for me...

I wish I could afford an HKS steel flange to have added on there and then I could just sell the ARC and get one of those

have you tried putting the ARC on a greddy flange? They look alot alike... worth a shot. Greddy flanges are like $30 at Enjuku. And Titan motorsports (another local shop) has HKS steel flanges on sale for $30 right now.

OR... I just found this:

http://www.projectnissan.com/p...y=130

you could use that and put the bov down off the intercooler (in the stock bypass location), or does your intercooler not have a hole there? I run an SR one and it has a hole for the stock bypass, but since you have a CA one it might not

they make a steel one for $30 so we could weld it to the steel hotpipe, or an aluminum one for $50. So if you want a steel pipe, it looks like we can add any BOV for about $30 for the flange. Let me know what you want

Nope...Not an SR SMIC so no stock bypass valve location. I think I will just go with the steel pipe and when I get paid in 2 weeks, I can have an HKS steel flange added at a local speed shop...unless you wanna wait 2 weeks for me to give you money for a steel HKS flange. Let me know

that should be easy enough have someone else add at some point in time... I'll just do the pipe flangeless for now, and let you know when I'm done. Would you prefer it painted or just left bare? If you polish it with a metal polish and clear coat it, it turns out real nice

I'm not a bad guy bro, just doing my part to keep things policed around here. Sean has the same priviledges I have and he knows how to play the game. You guys have some of the most coolest mods of any forum I've ever visited, but we do have some responsibilities when it comes to things that are determined to be useless chatter, deceiving, advertising, and most importantly deformating or slandering. We have let a lot of it go because there are so many newbies popping-up everyday. I like to sit back and watch some people speak about what they don't know and I'll only chime in when it gets out of hand or become misleading. All of us mods are straight and we don't step on each others toes under any circumstances. I hope this help in understanding my role and my demeanor here at NICO.

I totally agree Dee. I just knew that this was a waste of bandwidth, and I realized that we should be doing our business off the forum. I just needed to get ahold of him cuz somethines, ol buddy Sean ignores my IMs Ok, that was the last post. You can lock her down or take my word Thanks Dee!

I'll let it ride until he responds! I do understand situations where it is very hard to contact other members. It's all good though, man.

just an idea of what the hotpipe I'm working on for my friend looks like... Yours will be identical except without the bov flange (this is a pre-welding picture btw, finished product is all one piece )
