If you install them bare, you'll definitely be leaking. Just use a gasket sealer like Permatex, Loctite, or something similar. There are a plethora of gasket sealers out on the market to choose from.

Hope you haven't already done it, but DO NOT use silicone based adhesives. Silicon will wipe out the O2 sensors.

If you go to Nissan, they probably have some FIPG (form-in-place-gasket). Most auto manufacturers are getting away from using oil and transmission pan gaskets, and just using this stuff.

Works wonders and guarenteed to never leak. If Nissan doesn't carry it, I know for a fact Toyota dealers stock this stuff. Just ask for a tube of the FIPG - it's black and silicone-free and is specifically made for making/sealing gaskets.

Good stuff. I'm sure you can find this stuff at Advance Auto, but don't know what it would be specifically.

Late,Trav
