Thanks guys i have a dual in dual out it has 2.75 inch piping from the cat to the muffler and 2.5 or 2.25 from the muffler back. It sounds nice its not to loud so i may remove the cat because i would like it a little louder and i hear a rattling so i belive its the cat and if it is ill remove it

You may want to look into hi flow cats. When I had test pipes on the 350z it sounded way to raspy. It lasted about a week before I took them off plus my wife thought it sounded like a overgrown honda. Problem did go away after a shipment from APS =-)

If it is your cats new high flows would solve it. I just couldn't stand the sound with with no cats and straight pipes till I went turbo. It got a good bit louder but sounded like butt to me. That deep tone is still there at idle but once you rev it up it is no longer clean sounding. I mean you may enjoy it , it is louder but the rasp killed it for me. keep in mind this was on a 350 I know it is the same motor but it could end up sounding different.
