I bought my car with 50k miles, and I keep coming across forums with this Seafoam product. Would everyone agree that it is a good idea to use this product to clean out my fuel injector? just incase there is a carbon build-up?I read few posts about how to use the product, but I am still not sure exactly how to use it.

Can anyone shed some light on the subject?

I tried seafoam for my transmission but never try it on fuel injector though. How's everybody experience with it?

I have seen numerous Seafoam videos where the guys seem to be just having fun watching all the smoke. (You know men are visual creatures, seeing is believing) I'm not a mechanic but I know a little bit about combustion engines and have seen the effects of using cheap gas first hand. Answer this: how can letting something sit for ten minutes clean your injectors and get rid of all the "so called" carbon build up in our modern day cars? I personally think its a big rip off and would not recommend anyne put it in their car.

I put it up there with the tornado and slick 50 polymer oil.

Don't waste your time and money on Seafoam. If my old Buick with 337,000 mi. on it can still run smoothly, with no fuel injector cleaning additives, I'm sure my 2007 Maxima will also do well with the additives already in gasoline!

Putting it in your tank will clean the injectors. Through the intake will clean the valves, intake and will free up your rings. Just remember moderation in everything. I have used it for a long time and will not use any other except Techron.
