I bought the seafoam stuff...and I need your help! (besides my spelling that is):D

I was wondering if the vaccume hose is the one that goes into the TB or the intake right!?!? is that the one you need to feed the seafoam through..

if not, can some one describe what vaccume hose everyone keeps talking about and where it is located?

thanks...

I qoute KA on this one so recieves the graces.. even though u were mean when i said about that little accident!

"The break booster is located (standing at the front of the car looking into the engine compartement) on the right side (driver's side), against the firewall, towards the top. It's approximately 8-10" in diameter (circular) and 1-2" thick. The intake manifold sucks air through a hose connecting to the break booster in order to create a vacuum.

Anyways, the vacuum line is the rubber 1/4" diameter hose running from this circular booster, along the back of the valve cover and connecting to the intake manifold.

When using the SEAFOAM, I still a small funnel into the end of this hose after I disconnect it from the break booster (makes it easier)."

Bacardi has "o" (not the Julia Stiles movie) it's orange flavored, The Coconut Capn' is better though

I would expect that kind of preference from a sissy Californian, but a Texan? Come on. You're better than that.

grumble Pansy umbrella-drinks grumble.

hey hey hey now.. there's nothing wrong in sissified drink... as long as it has alcohol in it.. I will drink it.. doesn't mater what it is... but sometimes it is good to just drink some sissy drink anyway! I know all (well maybe not all but most of you) drink it... just fess up to it.. ain't nothign wrong in it!

I just tried that Ciclon stuff, 1/2 rum 1/2 tequila. It's good with sprite. That whole "sissy drink" stuff is macho bull****. A drink is a drink for crying out loud. I guarantee you 15-20 white wine spritzers will give you a good buzz! I think if there was a "man's drink" it would be tequila or (yuck) Jagermeister.

*ahem* to get around to the topic, i just bought some seafoam, and planning to use it in the break booster hose, i bought some bosch sparkplugs to replace the ngk ones that will probably get fouled after using the seafoam, my question is this---it says on the bottle its O2 sensor safe, so will it be necessary to get a new o2 sensor after i use the seafoam? btw, my car is young @ 87k

I went to the NAPA store and asked him if I need to change the plugs and/or anything and they said you don't have to change anything at all... just put it in.. car will smoke for a while and youre done..... he told me, one bottle is good enough for our cars. put one part in the booster, one part in the engine, and the 3rd in the gas tank....
