So I got my hands on a set of SE-R wheels and slapped on some 245/45/18 Yokohama Y520 tires. The ride feels just slightly stiffer, and handles much better than the stock 215/55/17 Turanzas. Down side to the wide tire sole is that I may have to roll my rear fenders in order not to rub in the back. (even with prokit)

I also included some updated pictures with my nuvi 650 in the cubicle, Batmobile's black roof overlays, and my "6MT" emblem. As far as the "SE-R" emblem in my signature, it's not there.

Thanks for any comments in advance.

I'm confused.

Is the wheel gap that different between the Coupe and the Sedan? I have a 3.5 SE Sedan as well and was thinking about getting 18s or 19s, and on some photos from other people with 19s it looks like they still have a mile of space in the back, but on your photo with 18s and no drop there isn't much space left in the back.

Should I rather go with 18s then on my sedan? I don't want to end up with a rub after getting the Pro Line Kit.

The rear well gap still prob got 1.5 inches to go, but w/ 245s the tires are flushed against the most outer edge of the fender, so when you hit a pot hole you'll rub for sure. But I think if you go w/ 225 (not sure about 235), then it shouldn't be a problem with the prokit. With 19s, you would obviously get 35 or 40 profile tires which would give you approximately the same diameter, so the same problem presents, which is whether you want to go with 225, 235, or 245s.

Thanks for all yall's comments

That's a good suggestion, I will do that :D thanks.

Just wondering, do all the factory wheel locks have different key shapes? i think its kinda stupid to ask, haha I'd assume they have different shapes. Any good recommendation other than factory Nissan wheel locks?

Every lock is in a different lock code yes, meaning every design should be different. Pretty sure there are other brands out there other than Nissan........... but I just went with Nissan brand wheel locks. A good investment for the simple fact that I rather pay $40 for wheel locks as opposed to paying insurance deduct, and such............don't need the headache. A good peace of mind

yes, they are different nissan locks are made by McGaurd and they are top notch quality and do not rust like cheeper brands and they are $40.00 a set and if you buy a nissan set the dealer can remove them if you lose the key and will not mess up your wheels trying to get them off unlike b.s aftermarket locks

I went ahead and got the Nissan factory wheel locks. I'm sure I wont go wrong w/ people's experiences. Thanks again.

As for the knob, here are some more pix for ya. shoot, might as well throw in some other pix for ya too.

The knob is a RAZO RA96 JDM GT Advance 340g. Works and feels great. Also slapped on some RAZO pedals, and some custom 2x2 weave CF.

He asked HOW you got them on.. I also am wondering how you got an aftermarket shifter on.. Please explain!

Also, are those pedals just glued on?

Oops sorry. It's a simple twist off (counterclockwise to twist off, vice versa)

The pedals have 2 metal plates that clamp the RAZO to the original metal pedal (after you remove the rubber covering) and a double sided sponge padding goes in between.

LoL since when did scratched rims become free? You gotta let me know where to find those deals

The owner of the wheels was goin to fix the scratches, but he decided not to and sold them to me for cheap. As for me, scratches here n' there doesnt hurt, unless they are like Volks

yeah i know, free is a stretch, but I only ask because I see rims like these for 400 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

or these for 500 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

I know they are a little different, but those are ones I found quickly by going to ebay. When you say you got em cheap, I'm thinking for scratched wheels, anything over $300 for all four is overpriced, unless that price included tires!

Oh, trust me Rob, the SE-R's are well worth the money, scratch or no scratch. There's no comparison to those generic wheels you linked. Forged and lightweight is the only way to go! Especially if you're in a pothole prone city like Honolulu. Just the quality of the SE-R's are worth every single penny. When you see them up close in person and compare them to "normal" wheels, you'll know what I mean.
