hey guys one of my friends have 05 altima SE-R and he wanted to know if we took out the resonator it would make a difference in sound beacuse it was so small

Yes, it would make a big difference. The job of a resonator is to help cancel out certain frequencies of sound in the exhaust by reflecting them against each other. If removed, there will be no noise canecellation, thus causing more sound.

I wouldn't say it would make a HUGE difference but chances are you will notice SOMETHING. Nissan's resonators are quite restrictive.

But why go for sound? Why not go for a real intake

lol i dont know he doesnt want to spend money on the car but wants it to sound nicer and its the cheapest thing possible llol
