So Im new to my SE-R. So heres the story. I own a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. Traded my civic + some cash for it. Has just over 107,000 miles and runs like a top. I have some questions though about the car.
1. The car says to use premium. How many of you use premium and will it really badly affect the car is I just run regular?
2. The car came to me with a sagging back bumper and front bumper, I'm going to look into it tomorrow but the back bumper seems to be sagging because of some double sided tape. Whats the best fix for this?
3. The car seems as it may very soon down the road need new transmission mounts. What would be my best choice for mounts. Stock OEM? Any suggestions?

And here she is:

Very nice looking B-15 you have there. I have seen and heard of using regular gas instead of using premium gas as its says it’s only “recommended” that you use premium gas. So, it’s really your choice to use what you want to use. IMO, I would go with the regular gas as there is no harm in using it but just don’t go back and forth with one day using premium then the next day use regular gas. Just stay with one and be done. As far as your Bumper I have used screws to put back a bumper back into place as you will find out when you take it off that you can use screws to hold it up and put it back into place it may require 2 people to do this as 1 person to hold up the bumper and the other person to screw it into place. As far as the transmission mounts try to look for some Energy Polyurethane Motor and Transmission Mount Inserts which are the best out there. Take care :bigthumb:
Here is a Video that may help you with your Bumper: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMOthSw0GuA :wavey:

First, that is a b15(00-06) not b16(07+)...

Second you need to do 2 things immediately...

1. Replace the stock exhaust manifold with an aftermarket header because the precats have a habit of failing and getting sucked into the engine and POP. And yes it is a very realistic problem lol

2. Lock tight the butterfly screws in the intake manifold. If not they back out under vibration and similar things happen.

After that enjoy your SER :bigthumb:

I know the manifold has been fixed under the warranty, not 100% what they do it that situations but its done. And the butterfly valves have already been lock tited.
