if you take off the rear drivers tire and look at the diff from the finder well you can see an orange sticker that says LSD.

The se package does not come stock with ABS OR LSD. The only way that you could get one is with the other, but they are an add on for the se model.

WERD, lol. Hm thanks for the info. Ive never scene a SE w/o lsd. My 240 is weird. I have the base series with SE front and back sway bars, NO abs, NO lsd as of yet.

My 98 se came without lsd or abs. It had both front and back sway bars though.

You have the 16 inch rims though probably dont you. I have those hidious 15 inch. you do have a 5 speed dont you? I never see anyone else with a 1998, its great isnt it? There are like 3 97's around here, and another 98 identical to mine but its AUTO and its a 80 year old guy driving it. I waiting for him to die, lol. JK

I had the 16" wheels, but I added on some 17x8 Millie Miglia. It is a 5-speed, and I acually swaped in a lsd off of a 90 300zx. I'm the only one around here that has a 98, but there are 2 97's one that is the same green as mine. That I've seen.

What all have you upgraded on your car? I bet those rims are beastly. How does your car handle now with them? You have a AIM screen name?

I've done almost everything short of opening up the motor. N-sport turbo kit, coilovers, 300zx brake sway front and rear, b&m short shifter, plug wires, swaybars & bushing kit, apexi n1 exhaust & apc-r and full stereo system. Plus other little items here and there. She handles like she's on rails. At 7 psi I'm getting 262 rwhp.

I took it to the track last week, I got 2 runs both with terriable starts, my times were not even worth mentioning. But I'll be back out there this thursday and see what I can do. I have about 300-400 lbs. of stereo equipment in my car, that doesn't help.

Take the box out then, also your spare, jack and any other crap you got to shave off tiny bits of time. Every little bit helps. Good luck though.

i always had traction problems in mine but a good set of drag radials will make a world of difference.
