What are the main differences between the SE and LE of a 1995 besides the rear spoiler--the wing?

I am newbie.

LE is not as good as SE.It is basically an upgraded base model... no 5 lug hubs, lip spoiler, etc, but it does have leather interior if I recall correctly.

I don't think the LE existed in '95? I know it was available in '92-'93 and '97-'98, but I have never seen a '95 or '96 LE emblem. I know leather was an option for those two years, but if someone is telling you that he/she has a '95 LE, I call B.S.

The LE is the most expensive model and as far as I know, it is an SE with a couple more standard options. The '97-'98's have the 5 lug 5 spoke wheels, white gauges, and spoiler (like SE's). The main differences I see in my car vs. other '97-'98 240's - BASE AND SE - are the STANDARD - -Double DIN radio/cassette/CD with auto antenna and 6 speakers (which gives you a different rear speaker trim panel), -leather interior/suede door inserts-leather shift knob/steering wheel-sunroof-power windows/locks/mirrors

I think those are the only differences.

Hope that helps....

Well, with enough people we will get it straight....

>ABS and LSD are not standard on LE (I wish they were)

>6 speaker yes, BOSE system no. BOSE was not available on 240's.

I had forgot about the keyless entry.

ABS and LSD were optional on both SE and LE? or were they standard on one or the other?
