Hi guys,

I have a friend that's selling his nearly 2 month old SDS that I personally wired into his car. I've become real familiar with installing and tuning this system and would have to say that his was good to go. This is a direct plug and play and an ideal chance to dump your JWT remapped ECUs and learn about programming your own stuff. You will eliminate your AFM, crank angle sensor and those expensive nissan coil packs. I use this system on board both of my CA18DET powered Nissan Sentras with excellent results and "yes" all my customers' cars had A/C including both my own. I post in the CA18DET section of this board if any one needs to contact me about it, but this system is well worth it and already programmed to help you put down 300whp (Of course you get rid of your crappy T25/T28's);). As a former JWT ecu user X2 cars, I've come to the conclusion that this sytem is the best bang for the buck over haltech, microtec, electromotive TEC-III and other systems that need laptops or are priced just under 2k whereas you still have to pay someone to set it up for you and tune it (this one already tuned). Just trying to help out and thanks for reading this.

Hey Dee... sorry to jack this thread. Well your programing worked wonders! You are friggin bad A$$ at programming SDS. The only thing i have noticed, is that at night when it gets cool out, i need to lean it out a bit and cold start is a lil rough.

I have been noticing at night only, and when a car is behind me with their lights on, at low RPM right where boost comes in i notice smoke out the exhaust. My buddy says its oil, but when i lean it out a lil more, it clears up a bit. It doesnt go almost completely away unless i am really lean to around stoic on the A/F in that range. I would keep it that lean, but at idle it leans out and is rough. I notice this happening primarily when i just enter boost.

Lastly, I am getting alot of oil out of the driver's side breather. I think this is also under alot of boost when it gets really oily. at idle, i see a lil pulsing smoke out, but when i smell it it is mainly fuel. I am wondering if I am getting a bit of blow by from the way it was broken in.

The remainder of the tweeking falls on you because you drive it everyday and you can sense those little things. As far as cold start, I would make adjustments in the "Start" area to get it just the way you want or purchase the cold start acuator. All the others I nstalled did not want to use this function, but I use it on both of mine and I don't have cold start issues. Now as for the oil thing, it's like I told you before I got a chance to tune with you, do a full compression/leakdown test and email the status of each cylinder. We would like to hope that the rings haven't seated properly yet, but I don't know. Your engine must really hate you because that friggin' car scare me the way it revvs and moves and I'm rarely afraid of anybody's car. Check the plugs, mind the temperature (especially at idle) and if need be, it's okay to remove the thermostat (I did). If you need to, give me a call and we'll discuss it further. But back to the thread, guys don't blow a golden opportunity like this one. If you love performance and think you may not be exploiting the potential of your motor, this is the cure. Scrap JWT, scrap the little black boxes (ie super AFC, VPC, GCC, etc) and this will be money well spent (I can only guarantee this).

Do you sell engines? Just curious...I am in South Florida and am looking for a Nissan tuner/engine dealer. Where in Miami are you? North or South?

I've pretty much covered most nissan 4 cylinders can't say much about the 6 cylinders, but I can wire any one of them.

I knew it was something I forgot to mention. And to answer any quick thoughts about this auction, that stuff won't close at a thousand dollars so bid early if interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...47161
