Sds vs haltech or somthing better???

Hey whats up everyone I have been reading for a while and searching for a while and finally signed up and got involved. Any way this is my question does any one have any experence actually tunning these. I am impressed with both of these systems. But I am leaning toward sds because comes with a basemap to tune from. The reason is I just got a 90 240sx with a blown engine for 200$ and i have removed the engine for the typical rebuild (forged pistons rods ect) and I want to go stand alone soon and I finish everything (custom turbo kit). I know the engine will need breaking in and I do not want to pay for a base map and then break in the engine then pay to have it tuned. Sds seems to be real supportive and a little easer. But Haltech has more features but no on site info on tuning. Is it that hard to create a base map??? Any suggestions will help thanks.
