sds is simple digital system; complete engine management system without the need of a laptop ('cause i dont own one)

Emanage isn't a standalone engine management computer, you still retain the stock ECU right? I would compare SDS to Electromotive TEC Systems, HALTECH, MOTECH or something along those lines:)

oh I almost forgot to answer the question! haha, yeah Dee mentioned last night that he was using an avcr, but he didn't like all the little things it had on it (because you can adjust all that with the SDS). He's using a Blitz elec. boost controller now:)

Right I see now, i thought it was an Apexi gadget similar to the emanage (that I hadn't heard of LOL)

Surely you can pick up a cheap crappy laptop for a few hundred $$'s, you don't need anything particularly flash and would make setting up infinately more simple. Are any boys running HALTEC? One of my mates is importing one for his SR20 S14, supposed to be very good for the money.

Cool, how do you find it? That's the basic model isn't it?They are not a big name here yet AFAIK, but I think they will have.People tend to go for Omex/Motec and Autronic here but I think the Haltech are as capable of some of the expensive higher end stuff.
