just bought a 720 king cab with a diesel sd22 im looking for ifo on tinkering with it i have a t3 turbo i think im going to put on it. are the pumps able to increase there out put? do they respond well to small amounts of boost?

I'm not gonna lie. Info on the Diesels is here and there.

Diesels weren't that popular in the US for some reason so few people have diesel 720's.

A few people on here have them though. Hopefully they know more.

basically... nobody even talk about modding the diesel engine... so i have no idea how it would respond to boost

i don't think the pump increases anything on its own tho... i think you'll need a new pump

Yeah, they are able to increase the fuel out put. You'll have to remove the injector pump and have it calibrated to suit. The T3 would be just right to keep about 7psi with 10 psi wide open. Should get about 25 to 40 HP more without doing any more work.

i found a thread on here with a bunch of pics, cleaned up and lowered a little these trucks can look pretty sick

Where is the forum. I'm looking to get as much info as possible. A good friend asked me to help mod a TD27 turbo for his taxi cab. So all info will be valuable.
