please post on sdcr if you have questions.

This event is local to San Diego, at Barona Drag Strip. No more driving hours to a "local" event in LA, OC etc.

The first part of the day there will be driving instructors to aid and teach the art of advanced low speed car control. All skill levels from advanced to novice are welcome! A timed barrel race followed by a time attack gymkhana course where you compete for prizes and awards.

This is our time schedule. We may push back the lunch schedule and/or the time allocated for barrel racing or practice but for the most part this is what we are sticking to.

The gates open at 9AM for signups,

Tech/safety inspection starts at 9:15,

Safety meeting will commence before the levels are open for practice at around 10am.

12pm, lunch break 30 minutes track area will be closed during this time,

12:30pm barrel Racing,

1:15pm track closed for time attack course design,

1:45pm Time attack announcements and safety meeting,
All time attack participants are expected to work one round and drive the next. If you do not work, you will not be eligible for the prizes and will be deleted from the records.

2:00pm Time attack will commence after the meeting,

Awards Ceremony,

If there is time to play after that we will re-open the track for more tire shredding fun!

Hope to leave the property around 4-5pm if the heat is too much for the volunteers, but if it is cool we will stay and play longer.

<<< RULES >>>
bring water, sun screen, and food, we may have some beverages and food on site for sale, but please do not expect it. Kwiki mart and gas is 10 minutes drive away in country estates or barona resort and casino.

bring extra set of tires to drive home with.

If your car is rendered un-safe by any of our SDCR staff you will be asked to discontinue use of that vehicle and park it.

if you do not conduct yourself in a civil manor, you will be escorted off the premises, and if you drift or screw around or do donuts in other parts of the property that are not allocated for this, or on the street you will be black listed from any future events and be kicked off the property and with police escort.

If you conduct an unsafe maneuver or get too excited and go off course or get too close to anything or people you will get a warning or get kicked out.

More details coming soon. Check back later! thanks!
