scv valve removal. and secondary butterflies?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

can i remove the scv valve and secondary butterflies from the intake manifold on my 1992 240sx w/ KA24DE? i have already removed my egr, aiv, and charcoal cannister along with all the vaccuum lines and valves. my goal is to just run my fuel pressure regualor valve and fuel pressure regulator off the plenum along with the brake booster. what effects will the have and what can i expect. i need help or ideas on this one!!!!!

yes you can remove them... but then you need to plug up the hols that run through the runners. The rod that holds the flaps on there needs to be taken out and the remaining holes need to be welded up.

Im running a 95 ka with the 95 ka intake still on it. Its in a 91 240sx with 91 ecu and harness. You should be fine as long as you plug the holes. I have egr, pair, and charcoal canister removed also. no codes

Correction. If it was a Cali ecu it will through codes. If it is a Fed ECU it won't throw codes. This is listed in the FSM.

I live in Minnesota cali is gay. No testing here. Just telling you what I did\ran with a 91 ka ecu and harness.

All you had to say was that you use a FED ecu. What does testing have to do with this thread????
