Scuffs on LED tail lights

I just recently installed 2006 LED tail lights on my 2005 35th Anniversary 350Z & after the passenger side was done I noticed some scuffs on the plastic. I do not know if the scuffs were done during shipping from OR to SC(the shipper wrapped the lights in a plastic resembling Saran wrap & put them in a cardboard box with nothing else in the box)or I did it in the installation process. I am going to ask the seller if he can suggest what I need to do to remove the scuffs. The return address indicates they came from an automotive shop. Anyone had any experience with removing scuffs/scratches from plastic with plastic polish, etc? Thanks.
