Scroll music faster?

I don't know about you, but I've got a ton of music on my iPhone. Is there some way to scroll faster than turning the cursor wheel in a G37? It takes for fricken' ever to get anywhere, and of course I'm trying to drive at the same time.

Ah, the beauty of playlists. Organize your music and create some of those.

The only problem with playlists is that you lose your artist lists and have to go song by song within the playlist.

If you don't mind losing your genres, then the fastest way is to change the genres of all your songs to the 1st letter of the artist's name. Then when you go through the genre list in your car, you can pick the letter, then the artist and song very quickly. It makes life much easier.
