well today i had an accident. Somehow, by the cheap-*** nike shoes i am wearing, my foot slipped off the brake as i was semi-parallel parking and hit the gas while i was moving forward already. this little boost was enough to send me into the car in front of me, but luckily not enough to damage their car. I'm pretty sure that my bumper isn't dented, but the paint is chipping like hell. Anybody have a place they'd recommend to get this fixed? I'll try to get a pic up soon.

Damn you, Nike, and your inferior burmese-child made products.

Luckily this is an easy fix, nearly all paint sjhops can do this for you even tho prices will vary widely depending on the thoroughness of the job.

What is your location?

Fred..:)

sorry to hear that i3ot, but id' like to welcome u to NICO, and i hope u find everyone here very helpful and informative, also, that shouldnt be too pricey, to get a whole bumper painted cost me $166 and they did an excellent job of coures depending on the age of your car ,the paint mite look 'TOO good' and wont match teh rest of the paint on the car

that's a good point. well, its a 98 i30t. And i'm going out of town this week, so it'll just have to sit in my garage and hopefully no more will chip. i'll get an estimate from a few places, like the local place, see if the dealer has any recommendations, and of course, got to consult Maaco. Burt Reynolds is one hell of a salesman.

My I30T got smacked on the right rear bumper last month and was scratched and chipped. It required buffing and then a tri-coat replacement paint. It was $175 done by Infiniti body man. The factory matched paint is quite expensive but it looks great.

Polyurethane, such as bumpers, is cheap to repaint. I wouldn't worry about it.

And Reebok > Nike. :)
