Who's better?

Zep or Floyd?

My friends and I have been arguing about this for the longest time.

Thoughts?

Both are great, but different from one another. Tough call. I'll enjoy both!

Okay okay, Ace of Base, Abba, or the A-Teens?

Lately I've been really hooked on Ace of Base. I think the Cruel Summer album was seriously underrated.

Yeah my playlist for tonight is all zep and floyd.

They are both amazing in their own ways. But dude, Floyd has some SICK guitar rips.

Both are great. They're the bands everyone copied off of later on anyway...

icelandic music : Sigur Ros would kick your a$$. however, they're not a rock band, just a group of dudes that make really haunting tracks with icelandic gibberish thrown in. Not for everyone.

Floyd, they are a much more intelligent form of music. Aside from amazing guitar riffs, they were able to take just plain noise and form music from it. You can actually lose yourself in a floyd album and all the songs flow very well together.

As for Sigur Ros, they are also excellent, and even though they are singing in the made up language of "Hopelandic" you'd swear you could make English lyrics from them.

AWESOME. i was curious to see if anyone ever heard of them, they're not as obscure as i thought they were. And, yes, your brain does have a way of making english lyrics out of the Hopelandic they use. It's scary. I do have to say, I haven't listened to my Sigur Ros albums for a very long time, they conjur up too many bad memories, and are kind of depressing. Which is what i don't need right now.

I vote Motley Crue.

and Boston.

If I had to vote one or the other, I'd vote Zepplin though. They had a broad style, Floyd gets old. Regardless.

and Shine On can go to hell, god that song gets on my nerves...if the local classic rock station didn't suddenly decide to wear it out, it'd be different, and me thinking it's Holy Diver when it first comes on doesn't help....

Zepplin! Also I must agree with Jesda on the Ace of Base. Classic 90's dance pop is great.
