need help everyone. When I hit the gas on my 2012 rogue intermittently I get this unbearable screeching rattling noise from around the engine area maybe closer to driver side front wheel. Anyone every have this issue? 120,000 miles on the vehicle.

Rouges have a bad exhaust shield rattle as do all nissans.
Wheel bearing is a definite possibility, does the noise change or go away when you turn the wheels to the left or right while driving? Jacking the vehicle up place your hands at the 6 and 12 o’clock positions on the tire and attempt to move the tire pushing and pulling even a little movement is a bad bearing.
I think it’s likely a serpentine belt pulley is on the way out. Does the noise get worse when you turn the ac on? If so it’s one of the pulleys.
My 2011 Rogue has the exaust shield rattle as well as what sounds like a loud transmission solenoid around 3000rpm, you can hear while excelerating and decelerating. I have 145,000 miles on it.

Unlike the sound in the video with the guy tapping the heat shielding, my rattle was a high pitch screeching.
Whenever I back out of driveway it would make a sound.
All I did was rip off one of those clips on a plastic hanger. A white or black plastic hanger is fine and it won’t rip out perfectly since your breaking it out.
I just clamped it on the heat shield where it was touching at the point I thought the sound was emanating and my annoying high pitch rattle has been gone ever since.
