Ever since i got my car back from the mechanic (timing chains replacement) it screaches loud as hell on start up. Everyone says its the pulleys and i got some "engine dressing" at autozone (recomended by the salesperson), its a spraying lube can. it doesnt help any tips?1996 240SX174K MilesBase

Where does it sound like it's coming from? Try tightening your belts.

If the belts are not tight enough they'll squeal. If tightening them doesn't help then yes, you'll probably have to replace one or more pulleys. You can remove one belt at a time and just start the car to narrow down the right belt/pulley. Do it when the car's cold and don't run it for more than a few seconds each time. Don't want to overheat the car or kill the battery. Rotate the pulleys by hand with the belts off. Each should be smooth.
