I am starting to get scratches on the cover around the automatic shifter area....(is there a correct term?)

Anyone else have these on that silver cover? Anyway to get rid of them? I've only had the car for a month and the only thing thats touched that cover is a micro fiber rag to clean.....They arent deep scratches..cant feel them but you can see them pretty easily

How does it have scratches already? Oo

Isn't the piece plastic? if so you could use scratch removal kits that are made for plastic like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Novus-Polish-Plas ... 782&sr=8-2

I'd try it on something else or a small corner first to make sure that you don't f it up.
