On some areas where the car was in a deer accident and got repaired and repainted, well that paint was so new when we drove it, that it's chipped. We have the protector paint sealant on the car. But should we be worried for rust or is there a good amount of primer under the paint? And I can't believe how the rear bumper has gotten black scratch marks all over it. Anyone have that problem? I just wish our versa didn't have so many scratches on it.

How big are the chips? If you can fix them and seal the chips with a paint pen or touch-up paint brush, I'd do it.

Um about the size of a sharpie marker tip. But can you touch it up with the paint sealant on it?

I just used Rubbing Compound (by Megular's (sp?) on my hood and hatch as they were swirled; and I had a huge scratch over my driver side wheel fender ... And the rubbing compound took the scratch completely out. It worked wonders and made my paint appear very shiny / glossy. It is a really great product !!!

Really..? I have some rubbing compound I tried using it on a scratch on my bumper but it did not good. Maybe it was just a deep one?

I'll have to give it a try on some smaller scratches that I can see on my car. :/ I wish it was all nice a brand new still..

Yes it worked. The scratch near my wheel fender is almost gone :) My dad suggested trying it on that area and it worked. The car looks pretty close to day one (besides a few swirls :()
