Whats up guys so the other day i was in a little bump accident in a parking lot, i accidentally backed up into someone and well now there are three scratches where the paint came off all the way to the plastic on the rear bumper and the bumper came off out of place. I thought of taking the bumper off and try to snap it back into place, and for the scratches i thought about getting the touch up paint marker thing but i cant find the color match anywhere in stores. Has anyone had experience with those? What do you guys recommend i do? I preferably want to fix it myself and not get my pockets raped by a shop since im pretty broke. I'd post pics but i cant figure out out.. this is embarrassing :frown:

Pics would help assess the amount of damage. Go to imageshack and host them there, then copy the link into a post.

You may be able to clean up some of the damage with meguiars high tech yellow wax. That stuff is amazing. It gets out all kinds of scuffs.

Yeah theres no dents or anything, i tried hitting the bumper back into place but no luck, i don't want to force it and break the snaps or something. But those are scratches, i managed to get the other cars paint off with a wet rag lol. Where would i be able to get the kit you mentioned?

If your bumper can be properly reinstalled you have a few of options. You can have the scratches touched up, or simply have your bumper completely repainted. If your bumpers fasteners have been damaged preventing it from being reinstalled correctly. You can purchase an OEM or Aftermarket bumper and have it painted/installed by a shop. Other cost-effective options are available to you as well.

hey man ive had that happen to me except i was backed into.
there should be a screw or screws where the rear corners are by the rear tire....if i remember correctly you have to push that splash guard aside a lil to get to the screw. once thats undone you can work your way from the rear by the tailight snapping all of them back in place to the front then screw them in
