Scratched my 3 day old Rims

So I am an idiot. I took my car through an auto car wash and scratched some clear coat type stuff off my brand new rims on the little guide rail. I am so pissed, and wanted to whine about it here. How do you guys wash ur cars? By hand only? Im going to try and get this fixed, or see if its covered by warranty or return or something. Its not huge scratch but enough to piss an OCD mofo like myselff off. Ill post pics when i take some in the daylight tomorrow.

Well over here in Toronto, there's this gas station which has a carwash called 'Glide'. It's pretty dam cool... U choose options (different coating etc) then choose touchless or touch, but most importantly it uses a dual wheel track thing that doesn't have rails. So that plus touchless it's pretty safe and ur car won't get scratched. Try to look for something similar? Obviously by hand is always best tho, so I still do by hand like once a month or two.

now its all me since the stupid car wash refuses to wash my car cuzz its too low and it wont go threw the rails lol

damit idk how to quote but seriously this is y i will never take my cars there they scratch ur cars....do it in ur driveway on ur own. If you dont have a driveway then go to the place that has that powerwasher thing n bring a bucket n sponge

I've had no issues with a touch-less place on my other Coupe. Anything that touches a black car at a car wash is dangerous. The only thing I kept an eye on was the towels they do the final dry with.

Damn Blake that was to funny. I almost fell off my office chair. I have a private detailer come to my house to wash, wax, polish and buff my cars. So yeah I get it hand washed. Especially the A/C for get togethers or shows.

Im the opposite i dotn rember the last time I hand washed my car. I got the sickest spot, its a Hand Car Wash place, it look like a regular car washm, but its gutted out and theres to guys inside that the car gets sprayed foammy soap covers the car and two guys wash it down with microfber gloves while it moves then goes to threw wax and then water to wash off and then blown dried with big a** blowers and then about 7 guys dry it with microfiber clothes, annnnddddd uses an air compressor on all the lines inside the side mirrors, the tail lights and blows out all the water so nothing drips when i drive away... 20$ for all taht plus vaccum, and windex every window and wipe done intior... ohh pluse rim polish and tire shine.. luvv it..
