away on business, let the hotel valet park the car, get it this morning and notice scrathes by the rear driver wheel, looks like someone parked to close to a while pole point this out to the valet person, he goes away and comes back with my check-in slip that's got that spot circled saying the damage was already there do I believe him? No! anything I can do? also no. coulda/shoulda/woulda isn't going to get me anything

on the bright side, looks like most scratches should be (relatively) easily buffed out, considering investing in some dr. colorchip in case they don't, hoping for the best

guess karma really is a *****...was able to get a free cargo net, not exactly meant for the coupe, but free is free and works so far...not that the two are equal by any means, oh well...

I feel ya on that. I don't have a scratch but after having my car for a week or so now i have to buy a new tire. I think i might have some of the worst luck when it comes to car tires. stupid little tineey tiny nail. oh well that'll be a hundred bucks that is not going towards window tint.

let me help ease your pain... I took mine in to the dealership today for first oil change and tire balancing (car has vibrated at 70 since the day I bought it.. and still does -.- ) I pick up the car, and just because I work at a rental car company, walked around the vehicle checking for any obvious/real damage.. I didnt think to take a close look under the handle. I go home wash the car, and find these two deep scratches that my fingernail easily slides into right there staring me down just below the driver side door handle while im kneeled down washing... called up the dealership expecting the run-around sorry you already left with the damage and didnt say anything routine, and got a very polite appologetic response with the call ending with the service manager returning my call tomorrow morning.. so well see if it gets taken care of!

side note here is that one part of my car is in the paint shop already just for a small adjustment because I hate being stock and $40 mod was all I can afford lol.

well they never really admitted to it, but they took it back to the "clean up" crew, and buffed most of it out. I accepted it just because i have my doubts about how much they believed me, I shoudlve had them sand and re-paint it.. I guess well see in a week if they just BSed it and used a high fill wax, or if they actually took the door handle off and buffed the area.. cause it didnt look like they did to me (plus they spent all of 15 minutes on it!)
