So I noticed that the Australian version of the Q70 comes with the Scratch Shield Paint technology. I believe this is where the clear coat is more scratch resistant than normal clear coats.

I don't believe the US version offers this. Why? And if I am not mistaken, Infiniti no longer offers the Forest Air option after 2012 US models? But in AUS it is. I have it and I think it is a cool option to have. When you read on how it works I think it is a neat option to have on a vehicle that is considered luxury.

I was on another luxury website and they offer a similar option on their vehicles.

Is it just me or does it seem that Infiniti is 'stingy' with their US customers??

Infiniti don't like us US customers. :(

Is that the "self healing" paint like in this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp6EPccFIJQ

Maybe we don't need that paint in the US because we never let our cars get scratched. :rotfl

I just think it that some options offered in their overseas models should be offered here in the US
