Try it on a spot that is hard to see if it is not a good match. You know rims will get scratched but if you are like me, you can't stand to see it like that. I understand 100%.

Check your scratch very closely. Recently as I rotated the tires on my Titan w/powder coated [painted] wheels, I noticed a scratch [crack] on one of the spokes and tried to rub it off. It was not a scratch but in fact a crack about 1 inch long. 21000 miles. Took to dealer in Palmdale, CA, one look at the crack and they said the truck is unsafe to drive. They immediately put me in a rental [2010 Buick] and said we will call you when the truck is ready. Two days later they called & said truck is ready. Dealership paid for the rental and the wheel was covered under warranty. They did say they had replaced a wheel on an Armada also, same wheel. Good service!!!

I will watch the wheels closely as I approach 3yr/36000mi.
