I saw that battle awhile back, pretty cool video. That GTR seemed too big for the road lolRedevil wrote:One of those option videos had a skyline with a scramble boost button. It still lost to the rx-7 in the touge though. Depending on the cost of the setup its most likely not worth bothering over
Why do they call these battles? In fact why do they call rap battles "battles" It's not like you're fighting the guy. I think its to make it sound more dramatic then it really is. And thats lame.Jyon9689 wrote:

the top gear video IS cool! That car really IS enzo fast. I will put my balls on the line for a mere .2-.4 sec difference in 0-60, and for a lot cheaper, and kinda looks better, and is deffinatly more practicle.0-100 jeez... it is better than any rollercoaster EVER. supposedly faster than batman (or mighta been superman) in a straight line. oh geeze that got me hooked on cars soooooo badly. My ultimate goal is to beat the **** outa a 997 turbopr240sx wrote:The 997 also has the VTNSo not only raises boost, I think that also changes the turbo geometry via the VTN.
At first, I was thinking of the "turbo boost"button that KITT has or even the "turbine boost" from Airwolf.......
The top gear video is cool as hell. "from 40 to 60 in.......1 SECOND!!"
Well the overdrive doesnt make you go faster period. The overboost is not like the push to pass F1 thing, on speed they described it as an INSTANTANIOUS 50-100hp. And they hinted it was amazing technology could fit that much hp in a button to a bottle.Yes it does do similar things but unless the turbo is rediculously good at response it doesnt really be on par (push to pass instant full power, turbo spool, max power in power band).Rognine wrote:No. The overdrive button enables the 4th gear in an automatic transmission. The 4th, or "overdrive", gear is there to allow for lower rpm at highway speed, thereby raising fuel economy. The overboost is most similar to the "push-to-pass" feature of F1 cars.
