Many of you may have noticed the new infinitipartsusa website. For those members that have not, it has a comprehensive search and list of parts they sell. I recently purchased and replaced valve cover gaskets and steering boots from them. I did not, howerver, purch thru the website. For instance...The throttle body gasket on the site was $3.95 plus $6.xx to ship ground total $11.XX. I called Frank at the 800# (He knows I am a NICO Member). Purch TB gasket for $3.95 and about $2.50 to ship. Not ground, but AIRBORNE XPRESS and arrived in 2 days accross the country to Missouri! When I ordered cover gaskets, Frank asked a tech if TB needed to be removed and said no. They must have a special tool to get to that last valve cover nut.The cover gaskets and boots I ordered the week before came AIRBORNE too (2 days)Still not sure how to quantify the discounts for NICO members, but shipping and timing seem to be part of it.Frank & Joe have been great & there are prob some other parts people there that are aswell. THANKS TO THOSE GUYS!Also, thanks to all here that provided input on the valve covers. I found the job long, but pretty easy. What I learned, and shared in NICO discussion, is to add some liquid gasket at the "half-moons" on the valve covers. THe original install on my '95Q had some liq gasket there.THat, along with steering boots, saved me over $1000!
