I am suprised at how many guys think that the RB20 is a bad engine choice or they are not a fan of the small displacement. Everyone says go RB25 or RB26. More horsepower only works good if your drag racing. You can only get so much power to the ground in a street car. The RB20 has potential of 300Hp. Why would I want anything more. My 240sx has a 400Hp KA-t and I got smoked by a 300Hp BMW at VIR. The BMW did have the suspension dialed in. Sometimes less is better. Go figure.

if it meets your power goals that fine, but you didn't need an RB to get 300whp, and I know the difficulty of getting power to the ground in the S30, don't get me wrong, it's a good looking car, mine is quite ugly, and I still have difficulty getting power to the groundI just in gereral am underwhelemed with the rb's, and it is true that when making power there is no replacement for displacement, it's why you don't see 4 cylinder cement trucks

and yes hp alone won't do much for getting you around a track quickly, driver and suspension are far more impportant
