I just bought the versa sedan S and didn't get the scotch gaurding done at the dealership... is regular scotch guard fine to use? the material is a little different and I am afraid to use anything but want it protected. Any advice on brands or what to do or not to do? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.I bought two cans of regular Scotchguard from the automotive section of Wal-Mart to do our Versa. I did the seats, carpet, and floormats. It stinks when you first spray it on but once it's dry (10 hours later) there is no smell. You can't even tell it's there. Just be careful not to get over-spray on the doors or other plastics.

Yeah use the regular scotch guard in the cans. It is the same stuff. and costs a great deal less. That is a project I am going to be doing when I have some free time and some extra $$$. Although I could save the bucks since my fiancee and I are the only ones in it ever.
