school starting..

well here i am 11:40pm at night and school starts tomorrow.. sucks.. i still dont understand why they are starting school on a thursday.. after a week of trying i finnaly got a parking pass.. i hate all teh admins at my school.. they are all worthless.. but this is my last year and im only doing half a day at the highschool and the rest at the college.. how about the other younger population of this board thats still in school.. when do ur classes start?

Monday... we started on Thursday... last year I think, and they saw that it just made it 7 worthless days rather than 5, so they'll probably change it next year for you (assuming you're still there). I got my parking pass at 8:30 this morning, before it was technically supposed to be available, yay! I was the first sophmore to get there's, but being that most can't drive that isn't much of a surprise... oh well...

my school always starts on thursday. in high school we had block scheduling, so thursday and friday would cover all your 1st day crap so the next week you could start learning right away. in college we start on thursday (the 21st), but i don't have a clue why.

Actually, we have the #1 newspaper in the country, and I'm on the staff (new this year, hoping to keep the tradition). My school is totally rad. 2 or 3 REQUIRED AP courses every year, less than 70 kids in the whole highschool...having another 200 kids 6-8th running around asking you to get them food since you can go off campus. It's so ****ing cool. Oh and not having straight A's in 60% college level classes puts you not in the top of your class! It makes sooooo happy. Senior year = me at public school taking 2PEs, Physics and some other cop out and then working full time because well....I aint got time for not having a Supra...

yeah, enjoy the lst year there. you get to have all the fun your senior year. i know i did. and yeah, we start eh 25th at UTA. i cant wait, but then again i wish i was still with all my homies at high school and with my girlfriend. she has one more year, then shes coming to school with me hopefully.

I agree that highschool sucks compared to college. I just graduated college, sniff, and it will be missed. Luckily I still have friends there to visit. I guess I can be that creepy old guy that still goes to the parties. Also, I cant wait for my classes to start. I am starting the Toyota T-Ten mechanics program. Hopefully I will be working for Lexus of Annapolis. They are expanding from 8 bays to 26 bays and need people. I'm so excited I cant wait. I tried to buy my books a month ago but the school store didnt even have them yet.

Weird, I thought MY highschool's paper was #1 in the country... does your staff go to the Columbia Scholastic Press Assc. meetings at Columbia University? I think those are the guys that do the ratings for at least this area of the country, and we're definetly #1.. Ever hear of Blueprints from Middletown High School? I donno that's weird... I wonder if every school just tells their students they have the #1 paper...
