all right im new to this whole tuning thing and need some help. i have a 240sx w/ a sr. i just insalled a gt2871r turbo and went up to 480cc injectors from the 370cc ones. i have a 300zx z32 maf and a safc2. i was reading about wideband o2 sensors and readers for such what do i need and how do they work?

my mods are s14 sr20 notchtop catless 3in turbo back exhaust 480cc injectorsgt2871r turboz32 maffmicwallbro 255lph fuel pump

id like to be running 12-14lbs of boost. now should i send the ecu out to enthalpy and have them flash it for these mods then just fine tune it with the safc2? do i still need a wide band if i do this? any explanations, advice or help would be greatly appreciated and if your local ill buy you a beer

Yeah, although I am still a student of SR's, I would believe 480cc injectors aren't really worth the install time. The injectors in that setup are definitely the weak link.

if you're planning it on tuning it your self, then yes you will still need a wideband

almost all tunning places will have a wideband. Software may need to be brought by you depending on what it is. I know AEM has theres for download.

allright just maned up and bought some deatschwerks 650cc injectors. now im just looking for a wideband. is the aem one decent? i found them for around $220 new. is this a decent price? man this quick project is getting expencive but should be worth it in the end.

i have the aem because im running the aem. its 3 wires and it works great for me. Alot of people go with AEM or LCM i think it is, hey both work well and get the job done.

For your application the Enthalpy rom tune is your best bet. So is the AEM Uego. You can also tie the o2 sensor into the ecu via the 5v analog output(white wire) on the uego as well.
