Hi guys,

Ive got a rb25 NEO w/ 26 ITB's and basic supporting mods. Im looking to upgrade my turbo and was looking for some advice. Ther car will mainly be doing daily duty, but with some roadcourse excursions

Ive currently got a precision GT3071R w/ .64 exhaust housing thats waiting to be installed but from what Ive researched and read about, because of the smaller rear housing it will only get me into the high 300's but with instant spool.

I was looking at the Borg warner s256 with extended tip technology 56mm inducer/76mm exducer
58lb/min and divided T3 .82 A/R. Now I know that this will get me into the 400's and beyond pretty easily but from what Ive read, this turbo really wakes up at higher pressures.

I want to have some relatively good spool and on stock internals hit the low 400's pretty easily, will the BW be the solution? Or should I try to upgrade to the GT3076r turbine instead, I know these will also get me to my goal and have been tried and tested countless times. Ive just never seen a BW S256 on rb25 and was really interested to see what this turbo could do. Its got a few pros like super stout turbo, with rebuildable services if I ever needed it which the ball bearing turbos dont have. :gapteeth:

the 3071 and 3076 share the same turbine.. the difference is the compressor size

id use a GT35R or 6262 with a small turbine housing and a nice set of cams
