voted-good luck. Mind posting your essay? id love to read it.
also, im just finishing up my first year of apprenticeship up here in Canada, there's a few different roads to take here, i took the most paying and most hands on-what is it like down in the states? Ive always wondered how exactly it goes down there. im sure it cant be that different but maybe...haha.
I'm doing an apprentice format over the more school based format, so for my first year I had to work 1200 hours on the job, unfortunately im at an awkward point between semesters so ill be at like 1500 before the fall for school, then its 2 months in the classroom. Then second, third, and fourth year its 1500 hours and 2 months class again. is that similar to you?
Another thing I would look into is the MAC tools apprentice incentive. Im not sure if it exists in the states but in Canada if your enrolled in school and attending class MAC tools will give you something like 30-40% off of all there tool lines, dewalt-MAC-Ingersoll Rand-etc. great way to save money and get the best tools out there.
