The Nissans require alot of custom fabrication to convert to dry sump, like a complete new timing chain cover with out the pump in it, custom oil pan ect, it can be done but cost of about $5k would not be with in most peoples reach.. If you still intrested call me...

i have this drawn out in my head...dry sump would be a great upgrade for RB motors due to their tendency to oil starvation on high output setup.

i found this while doing some research, which doesn't involve much fabrication and for the large part can be applied to the RB motors:

I was originally thinking about a dry sump kit (actually posted this topic on the forum about 2 months ago), but I think a great alt. would be to use a oil accumulator like this one:http://store.summitracing.com/...23901

Looks like a good inexpensive way to provide the same oil starvation insurance.

the accumlator is a good choice, as the building of a dry sump system would be very expensive. Lots of drifters and track people use the accumlator system.....The picture above leaves out the internal changes require and in the RB like I said you have to replace the front cover with a custom one designed to work with the dry sump....
